We Are Second Amendment Radicals And We Are Glad To Have You Here

Hello there, curious web-wanderer. You probably stumbled across this by scanning a handy QR code on your phone. Or someone told you to check this out. However you got here, welcome. This blog is a little off the beaten path. No fancy integrations, no UX-wrecking pop-ups and interstitials, just some pretty pictures, the occasional video, and walls of text. Maybe a banner ad or two just to keep the lights on and gas in tank. Regardless of how you got here - welcome.

The community of Second Amendment Radicals is glad you stopped in. It means you're interested in some way, shape or form in the absolute right to keep and bear any and all armaments, free from government meddling. You're probably getting jammed up on that last part, but don't worry, everyone has to start somewhere. The developer of this site even thought just giving someone a gun was "weird" at one point. That was the 90s though.

But anyway, we're sure you have some questions.

This machine guns are in common use.

What Is A Second Amendment Radical, Anyway?

So, what is a Second Amendment Radical? You'll see the term use frequently throughout this blog. Ironically coined by noted anti-2A politician Chris Murphy of Connecticut as an "insult", it became a suitable rallying cry for the type of people who consider the right to keep and bear arms to be sacrosanct. Compared to the mainstream point of view on the Second Amendment, it can be construed as "radical", even if it really isn't. In not so many words, being a Second Amendment Radical means you are taking responsibility to secure and preserve your own life, against all threats, foreign and domestic. Whether it's tyranny coming in from abroad, tyranny here at home, or "micro-tyranny", i.e. criminal attacks against your person not rooted in politics, you have the inherent right to defend yourself from it.

And, with the government being the most common purveyor of tyranny, you certainly don't want them involved in the process of you acquiring firearms. Why give a tyrant that kind of control over your life?

It's not a radical concept when you look at it - but again, to the mainstream point of view, it tends to be as such.

Don't let that scare you though - defense of life and property is a perfectly normal thing! Whether it's with a sharp stick or an AR-15, or something a little more serious - it's your right.

The Second Amendment Is A Restriction On Government

Every 4 to 8 years, around 49 percent of the population remembers the government is basically a malevolent force. The 1 percent in the remainder don't need reminding and would sooner watch the whole apparatus collapse, but recognize that maybe keeping a token government around is worth not hearing the normies complain about things. But anyways, regardless of your political or ideological bent, it's worth remembering that the Second Amendment, and by extension the Bill of Rights as a whole, is actually a restriction on government, and not a document that grants privileges. You have the natural right to keep and bear arms. You have the natural right to speak your mind openly. You have the natural right to privacy, and so on. The Amendments basically say that the government cannot restrict (infringe) on those rights. It's why gun control, speech control, and government spying are often couched in terms that appear Constitutional, by the way. Gun control is often disguised as a tax. Speech control and spying are often couched in terms of national defense.

Nuance aside, the Second Amendment is a restriction on government. The government isn't supposed to involve itself with weapons, other than being a customer of those who make them. Ideally, you should be able to get an M4A1 select-fire rifle (machine gun, to keep it simple!) delivered to your home via Amazon. The Second Amendment tells the government to kick rocks. Why? Because when it was written, the authors had just finished up a war that started in part when the British tried to take the personal weapons of colonists. Prior to that, the British had committed all manner of atrocities on the population, such as the Boston Massacre. Colonists, fed up with such things, started taking their inherent rights a little more seriously after that.

Knowing this, the Second Amendment was written to provide a legal roadblock to government authority over firearms and other weapons. Private citizens could own fully armed capital warships, even. If they had the money, they could commission and use the period-equivalent of a battleship or destroyer. Neat, huh! The government couldn't do much abou it because the best they could manage was maybe some warships of their own.

The point of the Second Amendment was and is parity of force. We're working on getting back to that, and having you along for the ride just makes things better.

You have to right to keep and bear arms, like this gun, free from government interference.

The Second Amendment Guarantees Your Right To Defend Yourself

By restricting the government from getting in your way of acquiring effective tools for self-defense, the Second Amendment acts as a guarantee on your natural right to keep and bear arms against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Again, it's not the government granting you the right to keep and bear arms, it's a statement saying that the government acknowledges your right, and is forbidden from infringing on it. It's your right, they can't touch it unless you let them. Unfortunately it seems we've let them, but we're working on reversing that - and you just picking up a gun and learning about it helps!

That Whole 'Well Regulated' Bit

There's a fair chance you're hitting this article from the perspective of someone who has swallowed the government's mantra that the Second Amendment is a collective right in the context of a government-sponsored armed force. That's not true, by the way. The Second guarantees an individual right, outside of government meddling.

Speaking of meddling, there's that whole 'well-regulated' bit that anti-2A people love to throw around. Here's another showstopper, the term does not promote or endorse gun control. Why not? You have to think about when the Constitution was written, and by whom.

Documents are typically written in the language of the day, and language changes over time. Terms fall into favor, and fall out of it. Specifically the term "well-regulated" at the beginning of the Amendment. At the time, the term "well-regulated" meant that something was in proper working order. So, the Amendment acknowledged that a well-trained (functioning) militia was necessary for the security of a free state, and thus their right to keep and bear arms should not be infringed.

Now, if the term "well-regulated" was applied in the modern context, the whole Amendment would be a contradiction. Regulating the right is an infringement, so how could something not be infringed, if there's an infringement? Makes your head spin, huh?

Oh and the militia bit? That's all of us.

I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for few public officials." (George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 425-426)

Neat huh? You have the right to keep and bear any arms you deem necessary, to deal with any threat to your existence. Criminals, public or private, and so on. So, arm yourself!

However You Got Here, The Important Part Is You Are Here

Whether you're concerned about a purported communist uprising courtesy of Mamdani, a purported uprising of ethnonationalists (is that even a word) courtesy of Donald Trump, or hordes of San Francisco zombies from Newsom, it's worth remembering the Second Amendment is for you, and being armed means you actually can say "no", and mean it. A gun is the ultimate talking stick. Unarmed, you can say your piece and just hope no one with a gun takes exception to it. Armed, you can say what you will with confidence, since you can literally fight back if someone threatens yoy because of words.

More importantly, armed and ready, you could very well be the one who stops a notorious shooting incident, like what happened in New York recently. Or be like the armed citizen Derrick Perry in Traverse City, Michigan, who stopped a bad situation from getting worse.

However you got here - zombie scares, Nazi scares, commie scares, ET scares - the simple fact is that you got here and you want to arm up and be a truly free human being.

A gun is no magical talisman, but it sure evens the odds when those who mean to deprive you of life and freedom have them.

The government isn't going to help you, nor do you want their help - in the end it's up to you. Arm yourself, learn how to use it, and recognize why you are armed. Pistols, shotguns, rifles, machine guns, silencers, artillery, battleships, missiles and more. The Second Amendment doesn't discriminate. You have the right to keep and bear arms, no politician or unelected thug can take that away from you.

Welcome aboard!

Get Yourself A Gun And Learn It

Ideally you'll at least want either a basic rifle, i.e. an AR-15, or a pistol, i.e. a GLOCK 19, to start. Both are exceedingly common firearms with plenty of accessories, spare parts, training, and support. However, in some restricted areas, both an AR and a GLOCK are hard to get easily, and you may have to settle for a shotgun for quickly arming yourself. It beats a sharp stick. Note, the in-house counsel wants to remind you that we're talking the legal acquisition of guns here. We're still working on abolishing gun control, and we don't want you in jail. Unfortunately you'll have to play ball in this regard. But anyways, here are some basic suggestions for getting armed.

Since you're likely new to this, yes, you are in fact buying a gun from a website. However, unlike what you may have heard, legally the gun cannot be shipped to your home directly. What is going to happen is as follows:

Oh, and while you are purchasing your gun online, don't forget the ammo! Except in California or New York, they can ship that to your home.

Now go enjoy your new firearm, train with it, and be the Second Amendment Radical you were born to be!
